Ok! So, I don’t have enough time to do a huge detailed post about Amazon Instant Video but I love it and this two day promo on the new Fire Stick is too good not to share with you! I just grabbed two for the TVs that don’t already have it.
Basically, Amazon Instant Video replaced our Nextflix. You can access Instant Video via an app on your tablet or gaming device, a smart TV, regular web browser, Fire box and now the new Fire Stick. Amazon Instant Video is basically your access to a huge database of movies and television shoes. And the best part is that if you have PRIME a majority of the programs are free. (kind of like Amazon Music that I posted about here)
We use this every. single. day in our house and I was ‘this’ close to buying two more $99 Fire boxes for our living room and bedroom TV since we use the playroom and basement ones so much. So, I was thrilled to see the new Fire Stick released today. Retail is $39 but for two days Prime members can save $20 making it only $19. These are a preorder and ship mid-late November.

I would love to spend a whole post telling you how to use Instant Video and explaining the ins and out of it but I have been swamped lately. For me, I love the free stuff for the kids, Matt loves finding old favorites that are free and I love the television series. The best part is that if you choose to purchase a movie or show it stays in your library and you can access it from any device. They also have cheap rental options too with most being for a couple days vs just one.

Hmm.. not sure.. I did it all in one transaction. Added two to my cart at the same time and it took $40 off. Not sure if it’s a glitch or if there is a limit or what. I do know that one lady ordered one and went back to get another but it wouldn’t get her. Sorry that I’m not more help!
