So, Jake starts Preschool on Tuesday! It’s only 3 days a week for a few hours but he is so looking forward to it. Ever since Abby got on that big yellow bus he has been wearing his backpack nonstop and dreaming of school. As much fun as the two of I have been having the past week all by ourselves all day (you decide if I am being sarcastic) we are excited to get the school year underway. I am dreaming of going on a nice long run by myself and showering without wondering if Jake is scaling the cabinets for fruit snacks.
On another related note, Matt has been threatening to give Jake a ‘haircut’ for months now. He doesn’t have sheers. This ‘cut’ consists of a number two trimmer and a lot of hair all over the bathroom. I don’t know why I haven’t been able to accomplish getting him a real cut. It is one of those things that I just put off and put off.
Until yesterday. Jake finally got a new do. He’s ready for prechool. And he looks pretty dang cute. He’s getting so big.
