I know that many who have came over from my old blog know about my love for the Mighty Acorns Foundation and our sponsorship of sweet Selvine.  But, we have many new readers here at OurLittleLifeStyle so I wanted to make sure that I re- posted it here too!

I want you guys to meet Selvine.  Her favorite color is red and she want’s to be a Doctor when she grows up.  And just look at that smile! It reminds me of Jake’s! I am sponsoring this sweet 9 year old through The Mighty Acorns Foundation on behalf of myself and you guys. Her monthly sponsorship was paid fully by money that I made through my old blog and I am continuing my support here on the new blog too.  I look forward to keeping you all updated often on her life and feel blessed that we can make a difference for one little girl across borders.

I got a chance to hear all about the Mighty Acorns Foundation at a dinner while at Matilda Jane’s Art Fair this past summer.  It really touched me and I hope you too.

You can read sweet Selvine’s story here: https://www.mightyacornfoundation.org/selvine  and I really really suggest that you take a minute to read a great feature on her here.  Get your tissues ready because heartstrings will be pulled.

And thanks for always supporting these blogs of mine and making it possible for me to do something like this!  Please make sure to read more about this foundation.  Any donation makes a direct impact for these sweet children. And I enjoy watching it do so!

Want to help?

I hope that you guys can consider supporting this Foundation in some way.  It is amazing that they have hands on the ground there to keep us connected and see how we truly are changing lives.  It’s one where you are able to really see the changes that you personally are making in the life of a child.  You can help in so many ways.  From a small donation directly from the Mighty Acorns Website or buying a Mighty Acorn hoodie(they are super cute too) or even sponsoring a child on your own.  More will be needing sponsors in the future and will be posted here.
